PickSportPlus is a free weekly confidence pick'em pool for NFL and college football, operated by Spencer Innovations. By creating an account or making picks you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The short version
- This is a game played for fun. There is no money involved and nothing to win here.
- Keep your account details to yourself and pick your own games.
- Schedules, scores and betting lines come from third parties and can be wrong or late.
- Your pool commissioner runs your league and settles disputes inside it.
No wagering and no prizes
PickSportPlus is for entertainment only. It does not accept, hold, transfer or pay out money, and it does not award prizes. Points and standings have no cash value.
The app displays betting point spreads, but only as a way of picking the closest and most competitive games each week. Scoring is straight up, meaning whether you picked the team that actually won. Nothing in the app is a bet, a betting service, or a recommendation to place a bet, and no line shown here should be relied on for wagering anywhere else. If you choose to gamble elsewhere, that is entirely your own decision and your own risk. If gambling is causing you harm, help is available in the United States from the National Council on Problem Gambling at 1-800-522-4700.
Your account
- Give an email address you control and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person per pool. Do not create accounts for other people.
- Do not submit picks as someone else or share an account to gain an advantage.
- You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live. See the age note below.

Pools and commissioners
Each pool has a commissioner who sets it up and runs it. The commissioner controls the league name, the join code, the season, the timezone, the lock time, how many games are on the slate each week, and how many of those come from each league. They can also edit the proposed slate, void a game that is cancelled or moved, and remove members.
Removing a member deletes that member's picks and results for the pool. Commissioner decisions about their own pool are final as far as the app is concerned. We do not arbitrate disputes between members of a pool.
Picks and scoring
- Picks for a week must be submitted before that week's lock time, which is normally the first kickoff on the slate. The lock is enforced by the clock.
- After the lock, picks become visible to everyone in your pool. That is deliberate, so the pool can see the week is honest.
- If you do not submit before the lock, you score zero for that week.
- A tie, a cancellation, or a game the commissioner voids scores nothing for anyone and is left out of the correct and possible counts.
- Results are recalculated as scores come in and may change until a week is final.
Data accuracy
Schedules, live status, final scores and point spreads come from third party sources, currently ESPN, The Odds API and CollegeFootballData. That data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a feed can go down. Spencer Innovations does not control those sources and does not guarantee that anything shown in the app is accurate or current. Where a source is unavailable the app shows the last good data it has.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break into, overload, scrape or probe the app or its infrastructure.
- Try to read or change another member's picks before they are revealed.
- Use the app to harass anyone, or put abusive content in a display name.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, including unlicensed gambling.
We may suspend or remove an account that does any of these.
Availability
The app is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement. It may be unavailable, lose data, or change at any time. Automated jobs that build slates and pull scores can be delayed or fail.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Spencer Innovations is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost picks, lost standings, lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of PickSportPlus. Because the app is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is nothing.
Some places do not allow these limits, in which case the parts that are not allowed do not apply to you and everything else still does.
Age
PickSportPlus is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to jakespencer6596@gmail.com and we will remove it.
Ending your account
You can ask your commissioner to remove you from a pool, or write to jakespencer6596@gmail.com to have your account deleted. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
